Explore Kelowna!
The Mission boasts two provincial parks. Myra
Bellevue park features the rebuilt Kettle Valley
trestle trail, great mountain bike trails, climbing and
caving opportunities.

Okanagan Mountain park still has a surprisingly
amount of healthy trees, after the fire. It features
great hiking, camping and horse trails to several
mountain lakes. Follow the canyons and trails all the
way to Naramata! The elevations in the Mission
range from 1129 feet above sea level at the lake, up to
1725 feet in the Quarry, to Okanagan Mountain at
5154 feet and then for the truly adventurous, take the
Bellevue trail to little White Mountain at 7123 feet.

If flatter terrain interests you, the Mission Creek
green way, follows the creek for 16 kilometers to Layer
Cake mountain.

Don't forget the many beaches from Gyro all the way
out to Bertram creek.

The Mission is home to highly rated public and
private schools, all a short distance away.

The new city recreation centre at 4105 Gordon
features skating, gym, indoor running track, all
weather lighted sports fields and soon, an indoor
Olympic swimming pool and water park. And don't
miss the dog park!

With these features and more, chances are, no matter
where in Kelowna you live, you'll be visiting the
Mission regularly, why not live here too?
